Hi,

as i told Drakhon a few days ago on irc, the Nackenclan will play in the tournament, with the following players:

Rail me NOW!! ( tafkaja -> The Artist formerly known as James Anderson ;-) )
Inflictor
H0sch1
Langer
GenEs1S
Stiernacken
Nackeneddie

We started a WQ-BR server, wich is password protected und could be used by all teams for their Matches.

I think we should play 2 Maps per Match ( each team chooses one ), and play "best of 13" ( The first team winning 7 rounds, wins the map ) or something... roundtime should be set to 5 mins, per round.

To choose wich map is played first, both teams could pick one player, that duels one of the others team, the winners choice is played first. ;-)

Hm I like your map rules Mr Anderson; I say if we follow your rules for map selection in place of mine we have our rule-set. Will your group be playing in two separate teams? The most any team seems to have set up is like 4 or 5 players right now =X

We?ll play as one team. Most of our clan members have only less time for playing online games, so i think its getting hard enough for us, to get 4 or 5 players ready.

When will the server be available, and how do the teams get the password?

I think our rules are quite complete now. We should play as James Anderson suggested. Each team choses one map, and a map will be played until one team has 7 wins.
If the two opposing teams want, they can try to have a neutral spectator from one of the other teams, but I think it suffices if both teams submit a map result screenshot.

So as soon as the server is ready the teams can arrange their matches and play. Each match should be announced in here first, so that there won't be 2 matches at the same time (would be bad with only one server).

The Server is available since last sunday!

NackenSchmerzen.WQ3
IP: 217.160.110.72:27966
Password: kill

We will change the password when the tournament starts, so no one could interrupt the matches!

What we still need is a contact list, with each team, contact person, irc channel, email...

Maybe we could open a thread in this forum, where each team could post the needed informations.

Okay I started an new thread called "BR Tournament Teams".
Each team should post the teamname, players and how to contact them in there.

7pm Central Standard Time (CST) is 2am Central European Time (CET), that's a little too late for a Tuesday. So I guess we have to play our match on a weekend. Even then I'd like to start a match before midnight. Just tell me when you'll be able to play on weekends.

Man I work weekends pushing carts for Wal-Mart

Is it possible you could do it this Friday maybe? We could log on at like one (fall break here) and it'd be just after dinner time for you guys? (8PM?)

I'm sorry, but Lixus has to work next friday. Maybe you should first challange another team. Perhaps Nacken Clan can play Friday at 8pm.

The first BR Match has been played between ICI and the Hawisch Stormtroopers. We played Santa Cruz and Mexico and ICI won both maps 9:4. Yes 9:4 that's correct. We had some problems with the scorelimit, so we decided to just play 13 rounds each map. The match was great fun and I'm looking forward to the next one.

So here are the results in a nice overview:

Santa Cruz: ICI - HS 9:4
Mexico: HS - ICI 4:9

Total: ICI - HS 18:8

Here are the screenshots of the results:
