Could some one tell Spoon to check his WesterQuake3 email address or send an alternative address for him to me?

Last week, I sent a proposal to him and Deimos that might help Iron Claw Interactive live on and give you all some more places to play but Deimos's email account is down and I've no way of knowing if Daniel's gotten his email yet.

If any of you all can help, I'd appreciate it. My address is in my profile!

The gang is still around but not too active here.

Red Neckerson still runs his server as does one other person.

I've spoken to many of the mod team members recently. The are very nice people.

Lixus has even mentioned making another map pack for WQ3. So it's still worth checking in here now and again!

Yes. I hope to run my server more frequently, but the bots are giving me a lot of trouble. For some reason, they cause the server to crash after several maps. I may have to disable bots completely but then I fear nobody would join the server if it's empty.

am a big German Fan of your Western Quake Mod for Quake III. We had some great lan partys with it. I find that your Mod is thery goog, because nobody knows it. . Can i have a banner of your Site? I would place it on my website to Western Quake a bit more known. I must say that Western Quake really rocks, especially on Lan Partys! I hope i can help you to make Western Quake a little bit more known. I have always make a boot screen for you. If you want it, i can send it to you, so that you can put it on your web site. Nice boot screen! I'm not one of the developers, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind having a wq3 banner on your website. After all, the mod is no longer in development and Spoon released the SOURCE CODE for anyone that wants to continue work on the mod.

so my Clanmates and me are playing on the Server "Somewhere in the West" On Toptimes about 10 ppl are joining and its great fun. Are there any other Servers online?

YES! There are 3 dedicated servers in Germany and 1 in the United States. Occassionally, there will be another server or two when people run them from home.
To see all of the WQ3 servers visit http://www.bootblock.de/wq3/ and be sure to add it your favorites.
You will find the IP addresses, see who is playing, and much more there.

I'm interested in playing for that UK team at jolt.co.uk, and I've posted on their forum. I'm from Ireland (I used to be Leanaht).

I'll also play for any other european team that will take me. I have broadband for the next 2 months, then I lose it for 3 months, then I have it again end of september for almost a full year, minus holidays.

So end of september is a good time for me to do the tournament - Ill spend the next two months practicing!

I hate to disappoint you but if you look at the first post in this thread you'll see that they were planning to do this tournament in September 2004. But hey, maybe some of us will be on the servers this weekend.
