A new Master server's crisis?

Are we going through a new Master server's crisis?
In SG server browser I can see only 3 servers.

In the meanwhile, avoid updating your Monster Browser (or XQF) list of servers, and if you want to connect to a server follow these directions: http://lameclan.altervista.org/blog/faq ... erver-now/

Yup, the master has been down for maybe a week. I guess Tequila's on vacation :lol:

For Monster Browser users, I have uploaded a data file with the 13 servers I know of that are up. Get it here: master.smokin-guns.org.xml. Just put it in your MB data directory, which is usually "%appdata%\Monster Browser".

Pressing "Check for new" while the master is down is OK with MB 0.8 and later, it won't delete the old.

Sorry, not in vacation, but I really need that :mrgreen:

The dedicated server crashed on sunday night and Houston forgot to launch the master rocket... Now everything is fully scheduled and this won't happen again.

There are at least two secondary master servers you can add to your MonsterBrowser's, XQF's or SG's configuration to compensate downtime of the official master:


1.1's default server configuration has those two included as far as i can tell.

Built-in server tracker support multiple master server since 1.1, so this shouldn't be a problem anymore -- if server admin report correctly to all of them.
