You can get details & download links at our SG Maps Download Page where you can also find other 3rd party maps. If you don't have a Fileplanet account then please register there for FREE since we will be hosting all of our latest files there from now on. If you really dig their service, they have upgrades available for a fee. You can also grab the download from THIS LINK. (Thanks for the mirror Tequila!) Unzip the files to your westernq3 folder. I understand that this new level is already in the map rotation on the Smokin' Guns FR and RAWHIDE servers. Other server admins will likely install the map as they become aware of it. So what are you waiting for? Are you gonna pull those pistols or whistle dixie?!

I can't see the map in the menu, after to have unzipped her in the folder wq3. Is there an other thing to do ?

You have unzipped it to the "westernq3/" subfolder (which contain all pk3) ?
The 2 files ? One named alamo1.pk3 (the map) and one named joekarimat1.pk3 (the textures and shaders) ?

@Joe Kari : all is good now. I used root to paste the 2 files... so the owner was root, while Smokin guns isn't a "launched as root" soft. Owner and permissions modified, its appears in the list. But i can't play with wq_alamo (Starting up..., without loadbar and without ending). br_alamo runs good.

It's a great map you've done ! Very very fun and nice !

It seems there is a problem on RAWHIDE for this new map. A callvote to change the map to wq_alamo_tiny will work once, but only once. After calling a vote for the second time to switch to alamo the server locks up. I tried to log the server info but failed. I do not know what the problem is. The RAWHIDE server runs Windows XP with the retail Q3 installation. A Linux server with IoQ3 doesn't seem to have this problem.

It runs Windows 2003 Server Edition not XP... lol

I tried it out yesterday, checked out best places for gatlin I m looking forward to a br-match.

I can't get this to work.. i unzipped the joekarimat1 and alamo1 files in the westernq3 folder. When i start up the game and chose single player i can't find the map in the map list please help me, I really wanna play this map.

Look in your westernq3 folder & make sure you see alamo1.pk3 and joekarimat1.pk3
If you are using Linux, see the comments further up this page.

Try deleting them, redownload & reinstall. Just on the off chance the files got corrupted somehow.

It is very difficult to provide blind help...
What OS are you using ?
What Q3 are you using ? (Q3, IoQ3, Openarena ?)
Please give us a screenshot of your westernq3 folder, and check that the size of the two files (joekarimat1.pk3 and alamo1.pk3) are correct.
